Phantom Lancer is an illusion carry who drowns the enemy in Doppelgangers and Juxtapose clones, becoming nearly untargetable late. He shreds single-target heroes who can't deal with an army: Mars, Templar Assassin and Terrorblade all lose to the sheer clone count. PL is countered by AoE and pure damage that ignores illusions: Tidehunter Ravages the whole army, Axe Calls and AoE-spins, and Underlord or Necrophos clear clones with magic.
