Why this works

Using Arena of Blood to set up for Primal Split can feel a little redundant. Both ultimates serve a similar purpose of locking down enemies for a teamfight, so stacking them often feels like an over-investment of long cooldowns into a single engagement. When one ultimate would have been enough to win, the other is wasted. The bigger issue is that both Brewmaster and Mars focus on physical damage, allowing opponents to itemize with armor to effectively counter both of your team's core heroes. If that initial fight doesn't go perfectly, your team is left with two key heroes unable to exert pressure while waiting for their signature spells.
