Why this works

Running at the enemy team as Bristleback creates a dilemma for them. He’s tough to kill from the front and demands attention, soaking up spells and attacks while spreading slows and armor reduction with Viscous Nasal Goo. This chaos is exactly what a hero like Clinkz needs to thrive. While opponents are preoccupied trying to kite or burst the durable frontliner, Clinkz has an open window to appear from the shadows and unload his damage. The armor reduction from Bristleback's goo also gives a small but direct boost to the physical burst that Clinkz provides, helping him secure kills on priority targets more easily.

This dynamic usually comes online in the mid-game. Bristleback will lead the charge into a fight, forcing a reaction. A well-positioned Clinkz can then pick his target, often a key support trying to control Bristleback, and eliminate them before they can react. The weakness is that both heroes lack hard stuns, and the strategy falls apart if the enemy team has good detection and discipline. If they can ignore the Bristleback long enough to find and kill the fragile Clinkz first, the advantage disappears, which is why this pairing offers a consistent opportunity but not a guaranteed win.
