Bristleback + Zeus

Why this works

Creating space across the map is the main benefit of this pairing. Bristleback can push lanes and dive towers relatively early, forcing multiple enemy heroes to respond and try to contain him. This buys a ton of time for Zeus to secure his own farm and hit his core item timings without much pressure. Once fights break out, Bristleback's constant Quill Sprays wear down the entire enemy team, setting up multi-hero damage from Zeus. A well-timed Thundergod's Wrath can finish off anyone who manages to disengage from a losing fight against Bristleback.

The game plan relies on Bristleback being an effective frontline distraction while Zeus provides damage from the back. However, the synergy often stops there. Neither hero provides the lockdown the other wants. Zeus has no stuns or strong slows to help Bristleback stick to a target, meaning mobile enemies can still kite him effectively. Inversely, Bristleback offers little direct protection for Zeus if he gets jumped on. They end up feeling like two separate damage dealers who don't directly enable each other, which keeps the combination from feeling particularly strong.
