How Broodmother and Lich perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Broodmother and Lich win 55.73% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 9,201 matches.
Taking over a part of the map with Broodmother becomes much more secure with a Lich providing backup. The goal is to let her play aggressively and choke out the enemy, and Lich helps her survive the response this draws. When opponents try to collapse on Broodmother in her webs, a single Frost Shield can be enough to turn the gank. The damage reduction and slow give her time to overwhelm a target with spiders or escape. If the enemy team commits heavily to kill her, they group up, creating a perfect setup for a Chain Frost. Lich makes it much harder to punish Broodmother's pressure game.
