How Broodmother and Winter Wyvern perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Broodmother and Winter Wyvern win 52.23% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 6,784 matches.
Saving a deep-diving Broodmother from physical damage with Cold Embrace is the main value Winter Wyvern provides. This allows Broodmother to play more aggressively, knowing she has a powerful defensive spell to bail her out if she gets caught. The two heroes don't have a strong offensive combination, however. Winter's Curse prevents Broodmother and her spiders from damaging the primary target, so it's used more to isolate a different hero for the spider army to swarm, or to simply cause chaos in a teamfight. Ultimately, their plans don't always align, with one wanting to split-push and the other focused on teamfight control.
