Centaur Warrunner + Clinkz

Why this works

Thinking that Stampede is the key to setting up Clinkz is a common trap. The stun from running someone over is very brief and often not enough to guarantee a full Burning Barrage channel. The more reliable play is for Centaur Warrunner to initiate with a blink and a Hoof Stomp. That long-duration stun is what Clinkz really wants, giving him a perfect window to unload his damage on a locked-down target. Beyond that specific interaction, Centaur simply acts as a durable frontline, which any fragile hero like Clinkz appreciates.

This means their success is very timing-dependent. In the mid-game, they can roam together and blow up heroes who are out of position. But later on, their goals don't line up as neatly. Clinkz wants to stay invisible and pick his fights carefully from the edges, while Centaur wants to be in the middle of everything, soaking damage and causing chaos with Retaliate. They don't actively hurt each other's game, but they also don't scale together into a powerful, combined threat.
