How Centaur Warrunner and Gyrocopter perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Centaur Warrunner and Gyrocopter win 45.46% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 10,537 matches.
The theory is a team-wiping Stampede initiation, but it rarely plays out that way. Centaur Warrunner wants to charge directly into the enemy, forcing a chaotic, close-quarters brawl. This is the opposite of what Gyrocopter wants. He needs to maintain a specific distance to maximize Flak Cannon and avoid getting blown up. When Centaur initiates, Gyrocopter is often forced to either follow him into a lethal position or hang back and miss the damage window. The brief lockdown from Hoof Stomp is not enough to guarantee safety for Gyrocopter, leaving him vulnerable when the team's initiator dives so far ahead.
