Chaos Knight + Huskar

Why this works

Drafting these two cores together feels like doubling down on one strategy. Both Chaos Knight and Huskar want to run at a single target and overwhelm them with physical damage. Chaos Knight can set up a kill with Chaos Bolt, giving Huskar a clear window to use Life Break. The problem is that their strengths are redundant. They are both single-target physical heroes who want to be the focus. This means enemy teams can often counter both with the same items, like a Ghost Scepter or a Heaven's Halberd, without needing to make difficult choices.

Their game plan requires early aggression. If Chaos Knight and Huskar find kills together and get ahead, their momentum can be hard to stop. They can take over the map and force fights before enemy counters come online. Should the game go even or they fall behind, their shared weaknesses become apparent. They offer little wave clear or area control, making high-ground defense difficult. A coordinated enemy with good saves or AoE spells can punish their commitment, making the outcome of any given game feel very uncertain.
