How Clinkz and Dark Willow perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Clinkz and Dark Willow win 48.90% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 13,952 matches.
Getting caught by this pair’s ganks can feel hopeless. Dark Willow provides the setup, locking a target down with a well-placed Bramble Maze or Cursed Crown. This creates the perfect window for Clinkz to appear from stealth and unload his full physical damage, often melting the hero before the stun even ends. Because they deal different damage types, it’s hard for an opponent to build items that effectively protect against both of them during the mid-game.
The main problem is that both Clinkz and Dark Willow are extremely fragile. They excel at punishing enemies who are out of position, but they crumble if the enemy team gets the jump on them first. Neither hero has a reliable way to save the other from a coordinated initiation. This means their success often hinges on who sees who first. If Clinkz gets revealed by dust or Willow gets silenced, the gank turns around on them and they both die quickly, making their offensive potential a double-edged sword.
