Clinkz + Dazzle

Why this works

Picking this pair relies on the idea that Dazzle can enable an otherwise fragile damage dealer. Shallow Grave certainly can save Clinkz, giving him the extra moments needed to finish a kill with Burning Barrage or escape after a gank goes wrong. The problem is that Clinkz operates as an independent hunter, using Skeleton Walk to find isolated targets far from his own team. Dazzle is most effective when he’s positioned centrally with his allies, ready to use his spells. This fundamental difference in positioning means the opportunity for Dazzle to save Clinkz often never materializes.

During the game, this duo can feel disconnected. Clinkz wants to be constantly moving around the map looking for picks, while Dazzle is better suited to protecting a core who is farming or pushing with the team. For the synergy to work, your team has to play around Clinkz's aggression, grouping up to follow his lead, which can be an awkward strategy to execute. More often, the two heroes end up playing separate games. The success of the combination depends entirely on forcing teamfights where both can contribute, but their kits don't naturally lead them to the same place.
