Clinkz + Jakiro

Why this works

Setting up a gank with this duo can feel a little disconnected. Clinkz wants to explode a single target from stealth, which requires instant, reliable lockdown. Jakiro’s contribution is primarily area-of-effect spells with delays. An Ice Path is powerful for controlling a teamfight or cutting off a retreat, but it’s not the ideal setup for a quick solo kill. A target can often dodge it, or the stun might land after Clinkz has already committed. The slow from Dual Breath helps, but it rarely guarantees that Clinkz can get his full damage off on a reacting opponent.

This slight awkwardness carries through the game. While Jakiro is great at pushing down towers with Liquid Fire and controlling space with Macropyre, Clinkz often prefers to be elsewhere, farming aggressively and looking for pickoffs. They don’t necessarily work against each other, but their kits don't amplify one another's strengths in a significant way. Each hero is largely left to execute their own game plan, which can feel less coordinated than pairing either of them with a hero that offers more direct synergy, like a hard single-target stun for Clinkz or an AoE setup for Jakiro.
