Clinkz + Keeper of the Light

Why this works

Getting caught out by Solar Bind feels miserable, as the powerful slow makes it nearly impossible to escape. This gives Clinkz a very easy target for his high-damage arrows, and he can stay active on the map for longer thanks to the mana sustain from Chakra Magic. However, a core part of Solar Bind is its magic damage amplification, which does almost nothing for a physical damage dealer like Clinkz. The setup relies entirely on the slow, leaving a lot of the spell's potential on the table and keeping the pairing from being truly oppressive.

The success of this duo often hinges on the mid-game. If Keeper of the Light can help Clinkz find a few key pickoffs on isolated heroes, they can create a strong gold and experience lead. In later five-on-five fights, though, their plans can diverge. Clinkz will be looking for a solo kill on a support in the backline, while Keeper of the Light is probably positioned far away to safely channel a full Illuminate. Opponents can counter this by staying grouped, forcing the duo into a full teamfight where their specific interaction is much less effective.
