Clinkz + Kunkka

Why this works

Setting up a gank with this pair looks straightforward on paper. Kunkka can use X Marks the Spot to guarantee a hero is in position for a follow-up Torrent, giving Clinkz a window to unload his damage. The combo is a classic setup for a single-target burst hero. The main issue is that this sequence is very telegraphed. An enemy team that sees X on their ally knows exactly what's coming and where, giving them plenty of time to prepare a save, a counter-stun, or simply turn on Clinkz the moment he reveals himself from the shadows to attack.

As the game develops, these two heroes often want to be in different places. Kunkka typically wants to group with his team to land a big Ghostship and control teamfights. Clinkz, on the other hand, excels at playing the edges of the map, split-pushing lanes and hunting for isolated supports. This means that for their combo to work, one of them usually has to compromise their own ideal game plan. Because they don't naturally play around the same objectives, they don't consistently make each other stronger.
