Clinkz + Lina

Why this works

Taking control of the map with this lineup is difficult. After the laning stage, both Clinkz and Lina want to find pickoffs to accelerate their item progression, but they often compete for the same farm and safe areas to hunt. They can't effectively gank as a pair, forcing them to split up or rely completely on another hero's initiation. In fights over objectives, enemies can often disengage or kite them because there's no reliable way to hold targets down. A smart opponent will exploit this by grouping up early, knowing this duo lacks the tools to dictate engagements.

The underlying issue is that both heroes need setup but neither provides it. Clinkz wants a target locked down to connect a full Burning Barrage from stealth. Likewise, Lina’s damage depends on landing her Light Strike Array, which is much easier with help. Since neither hero offers a reliable stun or root for the other, their combined burst potential is often wasted. Instead of one enabling the other for a kill, you have two damage-focused heroes waiting for someone else to make a play, leaving them feeling redundant in teamfights.
