Clinkz + Pangolier

Why this works

Setting up a kill for Clinkz usually requires holding a target in place. Pangolier’s style of control often does the opposite. While Rolling Thunder can provide a stun, it also pushes the target around, making it difficult for Clinkz to consistently land his attacks or for his Burning Army skeletons to stay on target. What Clinkz needs is a simple, reliable lockdown to unload his full damage potential. Pangolier instead creates chaos, which can accidentally save the very hero Clinkz is trying to burst down.

In practice, this duo can struggle with focus fire. Pangolier will often initiate a fight by rolling through the enemy team, scattering them. Clinkz, emerging from stealth to pick off a priority hero, might find his target stunned but simultaneously knocked out of his attack range. This forces Clinkz to either chase, exposing himself, or switch targets entirely and lose crucial seconds of damage. Both heroes might be creating pressure on their own, but their abilities rarely combine to secure a single, decisive kill, leaving the outcome of fights much more to chance.
