How Dark Seer and Phantom Lancer perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Dark Seer and Phantom Lancer win 50.29% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 29,680 matches.
Farming the map can feel a bit crowded, as both heroes often want to do the same thing. Dark Seer excels at pushing out lanes from a distance with Ion Shell to secure his own items and create pressure. At the same time, Phantom Lancer needs that exact space to farm safely and build up his own illusion army. This can lead to them competing for resources and slowing each other’s timings. While a good Vacuum can set up Phantom Lancer for a great fight, and Surge is an incredible steroid for him, the economic friction to get to that point can be significant. The duo relies on coordination to avoid starving each other out before their powerful teamfight potential can even come online.
