How Dark Seer and Winter Wyvern perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Dark Seer and Winter Wyvern win 48.42% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 15,576 matches.
Trying to set up a big teamfight combo with these two can be awkward. Winter Wyvern's ultimate, Winter's Curse, wants to isolate a single enemy and have their own teammates attack them. Dark Seer, however, wants to use Vacuum to pull a whole group together for a Wall of Replica and Ion Shell damage. The core conflict is that the main target of Winter's Curse is immune to damage from your team. This means Dark Seer’s illusions and shells can’t hurt the hero everyone is supposed to be focusing. This timing conflict often leads to one hero holding their spell, making their combined impact feel less than the sum of its parts.
