Dark Willow + Razor

Why this works

Setting up kills with this pair can be a little clunky. Dark Willow provides roots and stuns to lock a target in place for a burst, but Razor needs several seconds of sustained chase to get the full value from Static Link. Her control can easily expire before he has stolen enough damage to secure the kill. The bigger problem is Terrorize, which often works directly against Razor's game plan. Forcing an enemy to run away is the last thing you want when he is trying to maintain his link on them.

This leaves them feeling like they are playing two different games in a teamfight. Razor wants to run at a specific core, drain their damage, and become the center of the fight. Meanwhile, Dark Willow is often looking to use her control and burst on a key backline support. While they can still function on the same team, they rarely amplify each other's primary strengths. They simply do their own thing, which isn't always enough to create a cohesive advantage over the enemy.
