Dark Willow + Sniper

Why this works

Relying on this duo means your team is all-in on a long-range, single-target game plan. Dark Willow offers lockdowns like Cursed Crown and Bramble Maze, which create the perfect stationary targets for Sniper to hit from maximum distance. This setup potential is the core of their partnership. However, their shared weakness is a massive liability. Both heroes are incredibly squishy and lack natural escapes. If a mobile enemy hero gets on top of Sniper, Willow often doesn't have the tools to save him without putting herself in lethal danger too, meaning one good jump can kill your whole strategy.

When the plan works, Willow acts as a forward scout, setting up kills that Sniper confirms from the safety of the backline. The combo can actively work against itself in messy fights, though. A panic Terrorize from Dark Willow might push an enemy to safety, right out of Sniper’s range. Her other ultimate, Bedlam, requires her to be in the thick of the fight, a position Sniper absolutely cannot afford to be in. These conflicting needs mean they often can't use their full kits together, making their overall impact less consistent than it appears on paper.
