Dawnbreaker + Razor

Why this works

Getting caught by a Solar Guardian stun can feel like a death sentence when Razor is nearby. Dawnbreaker’s initiation can hold a target in place, giving Razor a clean window to apply Static Link. With the enemy stunned or slowed, he has an easier time maintaining the link and draining away their damage. Dawnbreaker's own spells also help keep enemies close, which is exactly what Razor wants. The combo is straightforward: Dawnbreaker locks someone down, and Razor follows up with his drain and ultimate to secure the kill on an isolated hero.

The main issue is that this combo requires both heroes to be in the same place. While Dawnbreaker can join Razor from anywhere, Razor himself has no mobility to reposition for a fight. If Dawnbreaker finds a good ultimate target but Razor isn’t close enough to contribute, the opportunity is wasted. The synergy is strongest during mid-game pickoffs where they can turn a kill into an objective. In larger late-game teamfights, however, things get messy. Enemies will have BKBs to ignore Static Link, and Razor can be too fragile to stand in the middle of the chaos Dawnbreaker creates.
