How Dawnbreaker and Timbersaw perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Dawnbreaker and Timbersaw win 49.24% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 5,018 matches.
Picking two durable front-liners seems like a solid plan for the mid-game, but the reality is that these two cores often get in each other's way. Both Timbersaw and Dawnbreaker want to occupy the same space on the map and demand a lot of resources to hit their power spikes. In teamfights, Dawnbreaker likes to commit with Solar Guardian to stun a group and create a clear target. Timbersaw is more about zipping around the fight with Timber Chain, applying sustained damage from odd angles. They don't set each other up very well and can pull the fight in different directions, operating more like two solo heroes than a cohesive unit.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
