Dawnbreaker + Winter Wyvern

Why this works

Making aggressive plays with Solar Guardian becomes a bit more reliable with a Winter Wyvern on the team. Dawnbreaker can dive into a fight knowing that a well-timed Cold Embrace might save her from immediate physical burst. This can give her the extra moment needed to land and get her own stun off with Starbreaker, turning a risky initiation into a successful gank. The main drawback, however, is that Cold Embrace also prevents Dawnbreaker from attacking or using her hammer. This pause can be fatal, as she can still be targeted by magical damage during the save, and the enemy team gets a moment to reposition before her damage comes out.

Throughout the game, this pairing creates moments of high-stakes execution. A successful save from Winter Wyvern can secure a pick-off and open up the map. A mis-timed one can leave Dawnbreaker helpless after landing or let the enemy get away. Fights often depend on whether the enemy team has enough magic damage to burst through the heal or simply kill Dawnbreaker during the disarm. Because the success of this combination depends so much on timing and the enemy's draft, it doesn't consistently create an advantage, leading to a fairly balanced outcome in many games.
