Dazzle + Lich

Why this works

Drafting these two supports together isn't about setting up an explosive kill lane. Instead, you're doubling down on defensive utility. Lich’s Frost Shield provides damage reduction that stacks nicely with the healing from Dazzle’s Shadow Wave, making your core incredibly difficult to kill. The tradeoff is a lack of offensive synergy. Their slows don't stack in a meaningful way to secure kills, and their damage types don't amplify each other. This results in a lane that’s very safe and resilient, but often too passive to build an early lead.

The game plan is usually to out-sustain the opponent and guarantee the carry's farm, rather than trying to dominate. Later on, the heroes function almost independently in fights. Lich looks for a good setup for his Chain Frost and uses his lockdown, while Dazzle positions in the back to apply Shallow Grave and heal whoever gets initiated on. Their success relies on each of them performing their individual roles well, not on a specific combo between them. It’s a functional pairing, but not one that creates its own advantage.
