How Dazzle and Lycan perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Dazzle and Lycan win 50.58% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 3,679 matches.
Choosing a support for Lycan often means finding someone who can keep up with his aggression. On paper, Dazzle’s Shallow Grave seems ideal for letting a transformed Lycan dive past towers without dying. In practice, the two heroes operate at completely different speeds. Lycan wants to sprint across the map with his ultimate, picking off targets and creating chaos far from his team. Dazzle is one of the slower, more defensive supports and simply can't keep up with a wolf running at maximum speed. This means when Lycan gets into deep trouble, Dazzle is frequently too far away to land the crucial save. The heroes end up playing separate games, making their signature combination less reliable than it seems.
