How Death Prophet and Gyrocopter perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Death Prophet and Gyrocopter win 44.90% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 6,009 matches.
Struggling to find enough farm on the map often defines this pairing. Both Death Prophet and Gyrocopter can be played as cores that accelerate their gold income by clearing waves and jungle camps very quickly. This creates a natural conflict over resources, as Gyrocopter’s Flak Cannon and Death Prophet’s spells want to clear the same areas. Because they are competing, their item timings become staggered and awkward. By the time Death Prophet is ready to group for a tower push with Exorcism, Gyrocopter may still be trying to farm a crucial item, leaving the team unable to commit to a cohesive plan. This clash in economy and tempo makes executing a game plan difficult.
