Death Prophet + Magnus

Why this works

Getting caught by a Reverse Polarity is always scary, but this pairing can be less threatening than it looks. Magnus clumps enemies together for a brief stun, which is ideal for instant burst. Death Prophet's damage from Exorcism, however, is not instant. The ghosts need time to fly out and attack, and by the time they're doing their full damage, the stun from Reverse Polarity is over. This often gives enemies a window to use defensive spells, items, or simply scatter before the ghosts can finish them off.

This makes their teamfight plan somewhat fragile. Both Magnus and Death Prophet want to hit a similar timing with Blink Dagger and their ultimates, making their strategy predictable. If the initial combo doesn't secure a key kill, the fight can get messy. Death Prophet wants a long, drawn-out brawl to get value, while Magnus's contribution is heavily front-loaded. Without extra lockdown from other teammates to hold people in place after the stun, the follow-up can feel unreliable and the full power of Exorcism is often wasted.
