Setting up for an Invoker can be straightforward with a Disruptor on the team. Glimpse pulls a hero back to a predictable spot, which gives Invoker a perfect window to land a Sun Strike from anywhere on the map. Later on, a well-placed Kinetic Field traps enemies, making it simple for Invoker to land his big area-of-effect spells like Chaos Meteor or Deafening Blast. This reliability helps turn potential misses from the Invoker into confirmed damage, punishing any hero caught out of position.

This combo can help your team control the map's tempo, securing pickoffs that create space for Invoker to farm his core items. The pairing isn't a guaranteed win, though. Both heroes are relatively fragile and can be killed before they get their spells off. Smart opponents will focus on getting an early Black King Bar to negate the magic damage and control, or they'll split push to avoid the five-man teamfight where this duo excels. It often comes down to execution and whether the enemy team respects the setup.
