Disruptor + Monkey King

Why this works

Drafting this pair often feels like a mistake because their biggest spells are redundant. Wukong's Command and Static Storm both create a lethal circle that enemies are punished for staying in, but using them together doesn't add much value. While Kinetic Field can trap a target inside Monkey King's ultimate, you end up with two heroes trying to do the same job. Having both Monkey King and Disruptor means your team is probably missing another crucial tool, like high single-target burst or a defensive save, which leaves a noticeable hole in your lineup.

This awkwardness shows up across the game. Early on, a badly timed Glimpse can pull a target away from Monkey King right as he's about to land Primal Spring from the trees. In later teamfights, their positioning conflicts. Monkey King wants to jump deep into the enemy team for his ultimate, while Disruptor prefers to stay on the edge of the fight to cast his spells safely. This often leads to one hero committing alone and getting focused down before the other can properly contribute, making your fights feel disjointed and ineffective.
