Doom + Kez

Why this works

Picking both Doom and Kez for a team forces a very specific game plan. Both heroes are specialists at isolating and eliminating a single target. Doom wants to use his ultimate to remove one key enemy from the fight entirely, while Kez excels in one-on-one duels where he can bring his full kit to bear on a lone opponent. When you have two heroes trying to do the same job, your draft ends up with critical weaknesses. The team will often lack area-of-effect damage or the broader teamfight control needed to handle multiple threats at once, making them predictable.

This redundancy plays out poorly in teamfights. The enemy team can adapt by simply grouping up, which makes it hard for either Kez or Doom to find the isolated engagement they need to be effective. If Doom secures a kill with his ultimate on a support, the enemy core might still be free to tear through your team. Conversely, if Kez gets initiated on by multiple heroes, Doom's single-target lockdown offers little protection. The lineup struggles to create its ideal scenarios and gets punished by compositions that can fight as a cohesive unit.
