Doom + Puck

Why this works

These two heroes often operate on completely different clocks. Puck wants to hit an early item timing and immediately start creating pressure and controlling the game's tempo with aggressive ganks. Doom, on the other hand, needs a significant amount of uninterrupted farm via Devour to build the core items that make him a real threat. This means that when Puck is trying to make plays with Dream Coil, Doom is frequently not in a position to follow up effectively. The early-game aggression Puck generates often fizzles out without the heavy, single-target presence Doom eventually provides.

As the game progresses, this timing conflict becomes a major liability for controlling the map. Puck might find a great initiation, but the lineup struggles to convert it into a won fight before Doom is truly online. By the time Doom is farmed and ready to use his ultimate on a key enemy, the windows of opportunity Puck created may have already closed. The enemy team can exploit this by either bursting Puck down before help arrives or simply avoiding engagements until they're strong enough to deal with a farmed Doom.
