Doom + Sven

Why this works

Farming the map with these two heroes can feel crowded. Both Sven and Doom want to accelerate their gold by clearing jungle camps—Sven with Great Cleave and Doom with Devour. This creates a natural conflict over resources, as they're both trying to use the same limited space to get their core items online. Since both heroes are quite greedy, one of them inevitably has to make a sacrifice and give up farm. This can slow down the whole team's tempo and make it harder for either hero to hit their important item timings on schedule, leaving the team vulnerable in the mid-game.

In teamfights, their plans don't always align perfectly. Doom excels at using his ultimate to single out and remove one crucial enemy hero from the equation. Sven, however, wants to hit multiple heroes at once with God's Strength active. While Doom's disable is certainly helpful, it doesn't provide the wide-area control or grouping that really lets Sven maximize his cleave damage across the enemy team. The result is a pair of cores that can feel like they're playing separate games, unable to consistently enable each other to take over a fight.
