Dragon Knight + Huskar

Why this works

Pairing two durable, front-lining heroes seems like a solid plan, but the execution often falls flat. The issue is that Dragon Knight and Huskar want to fill the same role at the same time. Both want to be the center of attention, take the lead in the mid-game, and force objectives after getting a key item or two. This creates competition for farm and space on the map, as they don't really enable each other to farm faster or secure kills more easily. Dragon Knight's Dragon Tail can set up a kill, but beyond that single stun, their kits don't have much natural interplay.

This leads to a one-dimensional game plan. Both heroes want to group up and run at towers, making your strategy predictable. An enemy team with good kiting, disengage, or strong physical damage counters can often deal with both Huskar and Dragon Knight using the same spells and items. If the initial mid-game push fails, the draft can struggle, as neither hero scales exceptionally well into the ultra-late game. Instead of covering each other's weaknesses, they tend to share them, creating a composition that can feel inflexible if it falls behind schedule.
