Picking these two together often means committing to an active, gank-heavy game. Ogre Magi’s Ignite provides a reliable slow that makes it much easier for Earth Spirit to connect with a long-distance Rolling Boulder. Once the target is stunned, Ogre can follow up with Fireblast, and a lucky Multicast can extend the lockdown long enough to guarantee a kill without much help. This chain of control is the core of their partnership, turning Earth Spirit’s initiations into more secure pick-offs.

The game plan is to roam together from the early stages, hunting for isolated heroes. Bloodlust on a third core following the gank adds even more kill pressure. However, the duo’s effectiveness drops if they can’t find these opportunities. Enemies will often respond by grouping up earlier than they’d like, knowing that this pair excels at punishing single targets. If the game stalls out or devolves into five-on-five fights, their combined impact is less pronounced, as they lack tools to control multiple heroes at once.
