Earthshaker + Spectre

Why this works

Catching an enemy alone becomes a simple task with this duo. Spectre can Haunt to any target on the map, and Earthshaker provides the perfect follow-up with a long-range Fissure block and stun. This combination guarantees a lockdown that Spectre can use to secure a kill with Desolate, often before the victim’s teammates can even react. In larger fights, Haunt illusions also add units to the field, potentially making Earthshaker's Echo Slam even more effective when enemies group up to defend or destroy them.

This dynamic puts the entire map on lockdown as soon as Spectre gets her ultimate. Supports can't ward safely and cores can't push lanes alone without risking an instant death from anywhere. The opposing team is forced to play clustered together for safety, which severely limits their farming space and map control. This grouping also creates the ideal setup for Earthshaker to land a multi-hero Echo Slam later, turning the solution to the pickoff problem into an even bigger teamfight problem for them.
