Earthshaker + Tusk

Why this works

Drafting both Earthshaker and Tusk puts a lot of pressure on your team to win through initiation. Both heroes want to be the one starting the fight, and they both need to be in the enemy's face to do their jobs. While a Snowball can deliver a perfect Echo Slam, there's also a real risk of their abilities clashing. A stray Ice Shards can easily block the path for Earthshaker's follow-up, or a poorly aimed Fissure can trap Tusk after he commits. This overlap means they can sometimes get in each other's way more than they help.

The laning stage can feel fine, with two strong roamers looking for kills. The trouble comes later when both heroes need to find the farm for a Blink Dagger to stay effective. They compete for similar resources and timings. If the game goes well, they can chain stun single targets and overwhelm the enemy with constant aggression. If the game is even or you're behind, you're left with two initiators who can't initiate, and whose spells can actively disrupt each other during critical fights. It all comes down to flawless coordination, which isn't always realistic.
