Enchantress + Zeus

Why this works

Poking from the back line, this pair can apply a lot of pressure. Enchantress can use her Enchant slow to hold a target in place long enough for Zeus to land his full spell combo. In return, Zeus’s Lightning Bolt can provide the vision Enchantress needs to safely land Impetus spears from a distance. The Nature’s Attendants heal also offers some much-needed sustain for a fragile hero like Zeus, who tends to draw a lot of attention. The problem is that neither hero provides the hard lockdown needed to guarantee a kill, so slippery targets can often escape their combined damage.

This duo creates a backline that is very strong at kiting but extremely vulnerable if the enemy closes the distance. Their success often depends on what the rest of their team provides. With a durable frontliner creating space, Zeus and Enchantress can control fights and whittle down opponents from safety. Without that protection, however, mobile enemy heroes can easily dive past the tanks and eliminate them both. This makes the pairing feel inconsistent; it can feel very powerful when enabled by the right allies, but completely falls apart if left exposed.
