Enigma + Hoodwink

Why this works

Drafting these two heroes together creates a specific expectation for teamfights. The ideal play is for Hoodwink to land a multi-hero Bushwhack near a tree, setting up a perfect Black Hole for Enigma. The problem is this setup is entirely dependent on enemy positioning and the environment, making it situational. Outside of that specific combo, their abilities don't have much natural overlap. Hoodwink's damage is helpful, but it's not the reliable, instant lockdown that Enigma truly wants from a partner to guarantee his ultimate lands on key targets.

This conditional setup often dictates how your team has to approach fights. You're constantly looking for skirmishes in the jungle or near treelines where Hoodwink is most effective. When a fight breaks out in the open, like in the river or pushing a cleared base, their combo becomes much harder to execute. Enigma is often left looking for his own opening while Hoodwink provides supporting fire from the side. This inconsistency means the pairing can feel clunky, and the team might have been better off with a more direct initiator to help Enigma.
