Enigma + Necrophos

Why this works

Winning a key fight to secure Roshan or break high ground becomes much more reliable with this pair. The tempo swing comes from how cleanly Enigma sets up for Necrophos. A successful Black Hole completely immobilizes a group of enemies, which is exactly what Necrophos needs to land a Reaper's Scythe without it being dodged or the target getting saved by an ally. This turns a chaotic teamfight into a simple execution, removing a key enemy core at the very start of the engagement and leaving the rest of their team vulnerable.

As the game progresses, the enemy has to constantly worry about Enigma initiating from the trees. This threat alone can force them to play separated, giving up map control. A good Black Hole followed by Scythe on a primary core often decides the entire fight. To play against it, the opposing team needs excellent vision to avoid the setup and heroes with long-range, instant stuns to cancel the channel. Without those tools, they are left hoping Enigma catches the wrong targets or that Necrophos is too far away to follow up.
