Enigma + Queen of Pain

Why this works

Stacking Black Hole and Sonic Wave on the same group of heroes is often a massive waste of resources. A successful Black Hole typically secures a teamfight win on its own, needing only basic follow-up, not another ultimate with a huge cooldown. Using Queen of Pain's burst on enemies who are already guaranteed to die inside the vortex leaves your team with few tools to handle the next fight or any surviving enemies. Before those ultimates are available, Enigma offers very little to help QoP secure kills, and her Scream of Pain isn't enough lockdown to reliably set up for him.

This core problem of mismatched tempo defines the whole game. Queen of Pain is built to dominate the early and mid-game, constantly fighting and creating pressure. Enigma needs time and space to farm his Blink Dagger and levels, preferring to avoid fights until he hits his timing. This means your team is often playing on two different pages. By the time Enigma is ready to contribute his fight-winning ultimate, QoP's power spike might already be fading, or the enemy team may have had enough uncontested space to build the saves and disables needed to shut the combo down.
