Faceless Void + Timbersaw

Why this works

Catching targets in a Chronosphere feels underwhelming when your main damage dealer is Timbersaw. His spells are designed for sustained fights where he can zip around with Timber Chain and apply damage over time. He can't do any of that inside Chronosphere. Unless the enemy is already perfectly clumped for his Chakram, his contribution is limited. Faceless Void needs heroes who can either unleash huge burst from outside the bubble or apply a specific debuff before he goes in; Timbersaw does neither of these things well.

This tension over how to fight defines the mid-game. Timbersaw wants to be a constant menace, pushing lanes and taking aggressive fights, while Faceless Void needs space to farm key items. They often want to be on opposite sides of the map, making it hard to coordinate. When they do group for a big play, the lack of focused burst often lets key targets survive Chronosphere. The enemy team can play around this by splitting up to make Timbersaw less effective and by pressuring Void's farm, knowing his backup lacks the right kind of damage to punish them for it.
