Faceless Void + Sniper

Why this works

Putting these two on the same team is a bet on a very specific kind of teamfight. The idea is that Faceless Void lands a big Chronosphere, and Sniper sits safely outside, unloading damage with Headshot and Assassinate on the frozen targets. When it works, it provides Sniper the perfect, uninterrupted window to kill key heroes who would otherwise jump on him. The setup allows for controlled kills on high-priority enemies without any return fire, which is exactly what Sniper needs to be effective in the mid to late game.

Executing this combo is harder than it looks. A poorly placed Chronosphere can easily catch Sniper, rendering the whole plan useless. Even a good Chronosphere requires Sniper to be in the right place at the right time, and smart opponents will work hard to split them up or pressure Sniper before a fight begins. Both heroes also require significant farm to hit their timings and can sometimes find themselves competing for space on the map. Success often hinges on perfect positioning and coordination, making the outcome less of a sure thing.
