Nature's Prophet + Invoker

Why this works

Fighting over the same parts of the map often defines this pair. Both Nature's Prophet and Invoker tend to be greedy heroes who need a lot of gold and experience to hit their timings. Prophet uses his global Teleportation to find farm in empty lanes, while Invoker needs a safe space in the mid lane and adjacent jungle to get his crucial levels. This can lead to them competing for resources, slowing each other down. While the classic Sprout and Sun Strike combination can secure a kill, it's often the only direct interaction their kits have, and its effectiveness drops off quickly.

This conflict over resources means the team's game plan can feel disjointed. Instead of creating space for each other, one hero is often farming while the other wants to fight. An Invoker looking for a teamfight setup might find himself a player short because Nature's Prophet is pushing a tower on the opposite side of the map. This split tempo makes it difficult to secure objectives or win decisive fights, allowing the enemy team to pick off isolated heroes and take control of the game before either hero reaches their full potential.
