Nature's Prophet + Phantom Lancer

Why this works

Farming the map becomes an internal contest between two of the game's most efficient farmers. Both Nature's Prophet and Phantom Lancer excel at taking resources from every corner of the map, but they do so in a way that directly conflicts. Nature's Prophet uses his global presence to show up and claim waves or jungle camps, while Phantom Lancer relies on sending his own illusions out to do the same. This creates a constant, unintentional competition for gold and experience, often leaving one or both heroes with delayed timings on critical items.

This tension comes to a head in the mid game. Phantom Lancer needs to secure large, safe sections of the map to accelerate with his illusions, but these are the exact areas Nature's Prophet is built to pressure and farm. The result is a fractured game plan where the team's carry is starved for resources by his own ally. Instead of creating space, the split-pushing can actually make PL's life harder by drawing enemy attention to the parts of the map he needs most, leaving him underfarmed and vulnerable when the enemy team decides to group up and fight.
