Nature's Prophet + Razor

Why this works

Setting up a kill for Razor often falls apart because the duo lacks reliable lockdown. Razor needs a target held in place to drain its damage with Static Link, but Nature's Prophet's only control is Sprout. Most heroes can easily escape the trees with a Quelling Blade, Force Staff, or innate mobility, leaving Razor without the stolen damage he needs to take over a fight. Without a hard stun to guarantee a successful link, enemy cores can simply turn on Razor or walk away, completely nullifying his main contribution before the engagement even properly begins.

This disconnect defines their games. Razor typically wants to group with his team after the laning stage, using a damage advantage from Static Link to push towers and win fights. Nature's Prophet, however, excels at applying pressure away from his team, split-pushing lanes to force enemy reactions. This often leaves Razor fighting with an incomplete lineup or without the tools to secure an important kill. The enemy team can pick off a lone Prophet and then comfortably deal with a Razor who can't effectively pin anyone down, leading to a slow loss of map control.
