Nature's Prophet + Storm Spirit

Why this works

Catching a single hero is the goal for both of these heroes, but their kits don't combine well to achieve it. Nature's Prophet sets up a kill with Sprout, trapping a target for his team to attack. Storm Spirit, however, wants to use Electric Vortex to pull a hero to him directly. Sprouting a Vortexed target is redundant and can even block Storm from landing the crucial Overload-empowered attacks he needs to secure the kill. Both heroes want to be the fast-moving, single-target assassin, leading to a game plan where they're often competing for the same space and farm rather than enabling each other.

This creates a lineup that's greedy and lacks a solid foundation. As the game progresses, both Nature's Prophet and Storm Spirit need significant resources to be effective. They don't provide the team with a strong frontline or reliable teamfight stuns. This weakness is easily exploited by opponents who group up and force fights. The pickoff-heavy strategy falls apart when the enemy team simply walks down a lane as five, leaving both heroes struggling to find the isolated targets they need to succeed.
