Why this works

Picking Nature's Prophet and Zeus together often creates a lineup with overlapping strengths and shared weaknesses. Both heroes want to apply global pressure with their ultimates and farm key items, but neither provides the reliable lockdown or frontline presence the other needs. Zeus thrives on having a target held in place for his damage, but Nature's Prophet's Sprout is a root, not a stun, allowing targets to fight back or use defensive items. While their global ultimates, Wrath of Nature and Thundergod's Wrath, can finish off fleeing enemies, this doesn't make up for a fundamental lack of teamfight control.

This draft often struggles as the game progresses. Lacking a true initiator, your team is forced into a reactive posture, hoping to punish enemy mistakes rather than making proactive plays. Opponents will group up and force fights, targeting the fragile Zeus and Prophet who cannot protect each other. Once BKBs and magic resistance items appear on the enemy cores, the duo's damage output falls off a cliff. The game devolves into a desperate split-push from Nature's Prophet while Zeus tries to de-push from a safe distance, a strategy that rarely secures a win against a coordinated team.
