How Grimstroke and Gyrocopter perform as teammates in Dota 2 7.41f, from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Grimstroke and Gyrocopter win 46.63% of ranked matches when playing on the same team, over 6,502 matches.
Casting Soulbind for a Gyrocopter doesn't create much value. His main damage from Flak Cannon and Rocket Barrage is area-of-effect, so it gets no benefit from Grimstroke's ultimate which only duplicates single-target spells. While a double Homing Missile is possible, it lacks the immediate impact needed to secure a kill. This mismatch extends to their general game plans. Grimstroke excels at setting up controlled deletions of key enemies. Gyrocopter, on the other hand, wants to run in and spread damage across the entire enemy team. They're trying to win the fight in two completely different ways.
