Grimstroke + Razor

Why this works

Connecting a double Static Link with Soulbind is the main idea for this pairing, but it's often awkward in practice. When two heroes are leashed by Grimstroke, they instinctively try to run in opposite directions to break the tether. This movement frequently pulls one of the targets out of Razor's link range, negating the two-for-one benefit. While an Ink Swell stun can help Razor secure the initial link, the combination provides a slow damage drain rather than the decisive burst that usually follows a successful Soulbind. It simply doesn't finish targets off quickly.

Because the combo doesn't reliably secure kills or provide strong push, this duo can have trouble converting fight advantages into objectives. After a gank, neither Grimstroke nor Razor can take down a tower or Roshan with much speed, allowing the enemy team to recover and stabilize. As the game progresses, the setup becomes even less dependable. Enemy heroes will buy Force Staffs to break the Static Link tether and Black King Bars to ignore Soulbind altogether, forcing your team to find perfect openings that are few and far between.
