Grimstroke + Shadow Shaman

Why this works

Putting Grimstroke and Shadow Shaman in the same draft creates a lockdown nightmare for the other team. The combo is straightforward: Grimstroke lands Soulbind on two enemy heroes, and Shadow Shaman follows up with his single-target disables. A Soulbound Hex instantly takes two priority targets out of the fight. Shadow Shaman can then use Shackles, which will also be duplicated, leading to an obscene amount of control from one hero. This turns what would normally be a single-hero pickoff into a fight-winning double kill before the enemy can even react. Ink Swell also gives Shadow Shaman the speed he needs to close the distance and channel safely.

This setup makes ganking incredibly reliable once both heroes have their ultimates. It also completely warps teamfights, as the enemy team is forced to play far apart to avoid a good Soulbind, making it harder for them to focus targets. A successful combo often leads directly to an objective, with Shadow Shaman's Mass Serpent Ward melting a tower while the enemy is still respawning. The pressure is entirely on the opponents to have save items ready or to perfectly coordinate their positioning, because any small mistake gets brutally punished by this pair.
